Checking your refund status

ISIgor SedovUpdated 14 May 20265 min read8 470 read

You filed the request and then — silence? In fact, every Sales.Travel refund moves through clear stages, and you can watch them in real time without waiting for an operator to reply.

In short

Your refund status always lives in the booking card under My bookings: under reviewapprovedpaid out. Each step triggers an email. If the status sits still for too long, call support on 8 800 1000-646.

01 / Where to lookWhere to track the status

The single source of truth is your account. Open My bookings and find the relevant booking card — the current refund status is shown right there. It is the same page where you submitted the request, so there is nothing extra to hunt for.

1

Log in to the site with your password or via Telegram (@sales_travel_bot).

2

Open “My bookings”

Go to /account/bookings, where all your orders are listed.

3

Find the booking card

The refund status appears on the card itself: under review, approved or paid out.

02 / StagesWhat each status means

StatusWhat it means
Under reviewThe request has been received and is being checked: we verify the fare rules and confirm the amount.
ApprovedThe refund is confirmed, the amount is fixed and queued for payout.
Paid outFunds have been sent back to the original payment method; the crediting time then depends on your bank.
“Paid out” is not yet “credited”The paid out status means we have released the funds. The money appearing on your card or account takes additional time on the bank’s side — usually a few business days.

03 / NotificationsEmails at every step

You don’t have to keep checking your account manually: whenever the status changes, we automatically send an email to the address on the order. That way you’ll hear about the approval and the payout even without visiting the site.

No email?Check your spam folder and make sure the email in your profile is correct. Either way, the current status is always visible in your account — it doesn’t depend on email delivery.

04 / Stuck statusIf the status won’t move

The “under review” stage can take a while — that’s normal, especially for complex fares that require coordination with the service provider. But if the status hasn’t moved for noticeably longer than usual, it’s worth getting in touch.

  • Call support on 8 800 1000-646 and give the booking number from the card.
  • Message the @sales_travel_bot bot on Telegram if you prefer chat.
  • Keep the order email handy so we can locate the request faster.
Don’t file twiceIf a refund is already “under review”, don’t submit a duplicate — it can slow processing down. Instead, check the status with support.

05 / FAQFrequently asked

How fast does it change to “approved”?

It depends on the service and the fare. Simple refunds are usually quick; complex ones may need supplier coordination. Check exact timing with support.

It says “paid out”, but the money isn’t there. What now?

Bank crediting usually takes a few business days. If it’s taking noticeably longer, call 8 800 1000-646 and we’ll help you look into it.

Can I check the status without logging in?

The most reliable way is your account together with the email notifications. If you can’t access the account, contact support and they’ll tell you the status by booking number.

Where do I find the refund request number?

It’s tied to your booking — open its card under My bookings. That’s the number to quote when you contact support.
