Payment went through — but where are the documents? After every payment on Sales.Travel we automatically issue a fiscal receipt, and all documents for the order stay in your account. Let's walk through what you get, where to download it, and why the receipt is worth keeping until the trip is over.
Right after payment a fiscal receipt is emailed to you, as required by Russian law (54-FZ). The same receipt and an invoice can always be downloaded from My bookings. You'll want the receipt for refunds and accounting, so keep it handy. Companies can get a separate invoice issued to the business.
01 / What you getWhich documents you receive after payment
Right after a successful payment the system issues a fiscal receipt — it is sent to the email on the order, as required by Russian fiscal law (54-FZ). This is the primary payment document confirming that the payment was received. Separately, an invoice is available for the order — handy for accounting and whenever you need a line-by-line breakdown of the booking.
02 / Where to downloadHow to find and download the documents in your account

03 / Why you need themWhere the receipt and invoice come in handy
- Refund. The receipt confirms the fact and the amount of payment — you'll want it when requesting a refund.
- Records. Both the receipt and the invoice work for an expense report or for tracking your own trip costs.
- Disputes. The document helps you quickly confirm the payment with your bank or the service provider.
- Insurance. When filing a claim, the receipt serves as proof of the expense.
04 / Company invoiceIf a company is paying
If an organisation is paying and you need an invoice with company details, it is issued separately from the regular receipt. The process for issuing a company invoice, the set of closing documents and the details of bank-transfer payment are covered in a dedicated article, which also has a form for your company details. For personal trips, the fiscal receipt and the order invoice from your account are enough.
05 / FAQQuick answers
Which email does the receipt go to?
To the address you entered on the order at checkout. If it doesn't arrive, check your Spam folder — the receipt is available either way in My bookings.
Can I get the receipt again?
Yes. The receipt is stored in your account and can be re-downloaded at any time — no separate request needed.
How is a receipt different from an invoice?
A receipt is a fiscal document confirming payment under 54-FZ. An invoice is the order breakdown, handy for your records. Both are available in your account.
Do I need the receipt for a refund?
The receipt confirms the amount and the fact of payment, so keep it until the trip ends and any refunds are settled.
