Payment currency and conversion

One currency on the storefront, clear conversion underneath. On Sales.Travel every price is shown in rubles, and offers quoted in other currencies are converted to rubles at the current rate with a small markup — so the final amount due is clear upfront, with no surprises.

In short

In short: you see and pay in rubles. If an offer is originally in a foreign currency, we convert it to rubles at the current rate plus a small markup, and that ruble amount is what gets charged. When paying with a foreign card, your issuing bank may apply its own conversion. You can always re-check the final amount in your order history.

01 / On screenWhich currency prices are shown in

All prices on the site are displayed in rubles — on tour, hotel and flight cards, and on the checkout page. This is the same currency you'll be charged in, so the amount on the storefront matches the amount due.

Why rublesA single ruble storefront saves you from converting twice in your head: you see the total in a familiar currency right away, with no dependence on how a payment page rounds things off.

02 / The rateHow currency offers are converted

Some offers reach us from partners priced in a foreign currency. We convert those to rubles at the current rate with a small markup that absorbs rate movement between the moment the price is shown and the moment of charge. What you see on the storefront is already the result of this conversion — nothing extra to add.

TipThe ruble total is locked in when you place the order, so trust the figure shown at checkout rather than a rate from a third-party source.

03 / RU cardsPaying with a Russian card

For cards issued by Russian banks, payment is processed in rubles. Exactly the ruble amount shown on the checkout page is charged — no additional conversion applies here.

1

Check the amount

At checkout, confirm the final ruble total matches the offer you selected.

2

Pay in rubles

Enter your RU card details — the charge goes through in rubles, with no conversion on our side.

3

Reconcile in your account

The total and payment status appear in your order history.

04 / AbroadPaying with a foreign card

Our order total is always in rubles. If you pay with a card issued abroad, your issuing bank may apply its own conversion from rubles into your card's currency — at its own rate and on its own terms. That part is outside our control, so check the final charge in your card's currency with your bank.

Note on foreign cardsBecause of the issuing bank's rate and possible cross-border fees, the amount in your card's currency may differ slightly from a straight conversion of the ruble total. This is standard banking practice, not an extra Sales.Travel charge.

05 / FAQFrequently asked questions

Can I see prices in dollars or euros?

The storefront runs in rubles, and payment is taken in rubles. For currency offers we already show the ruble equivalent at the current rate, so there's nothing to convert yourself.

Why is the ruble price a bit higher than a straight Central Bank conversion?

Currency offers carry a small markup over the current rate to hedge against fluctuations between when the price is shown and when it's charged. You see the locked-in ruble total before you pay.

I'm paying with a foreign card — how much will be charged in my currency?

On our side the amount is in rubles. Your issuing bank converts it into your card's currency at its own rate, so check the exact figure with your bank. See also our guide on paying with foreign cards.

Where can I re-check the final amount paid?

The total and order status are in your order history. If something doesn't add up, message @sales_travel_bot or call support at 8 800 1000-646.
