Instalments and split payment

ISIgor SedovUpdated 14 May 20266 min read11 480 read

A good trip shouldn't have to wait until you've saved up the full amount. Sales.Travel offers interest-free instalments through partner banks: you book today and pay in equal parts on a clear schedule.

In short

When you check out, choose “Split payment” — the system shows the available options and the payment schedule. Which ones appear depends on the order amount and the partner bank, so they're matched automatically at the payment step. The status and instalments are always visible in your bookings.

01 / What it isWhat interest-free instalments are

Instalments let you pay for an order in equal parts instead of one lump sum. On Sales.Travel this is arranged through partner banks: the bank pays for your booking in full upfront, and you repay that amount to the bank on an agreed schedule. With interest-free instalments the total doesn't grow — you pay exactly what the trip costs.

Instalments are not a loanInterest-free instalments add no overpayment: the trip price is simply split into parts. The bank shows the exact terms of each offer before you confirm — read them carefully before you agree.

02 / How to set upHow to choose split payment at checkout

1

Build your order

Pick a tour, flight or hotel and proceed to checkout as usual.

2

Choose “Split payment”

At the payment step, select “Split payment” instead of a one-off card payment.

3

Compare options and schedule

The system shows the available options and the payment schedule: how much each part is and when it's charged.

4

Confirm with the bank

Fill in the partner bank's short application and wait for its decision — this usually takes a few minutes.

5

Get your booking confirmed

Once approved, the booking is confirmed and the schedule appears in My bookings.

TipIf “Split payment” doesn't show up, check the order amount: availability depends on it and on the partner bank. Sometimes adjusting the order helps — for example, booking the tour and the add-ons together.

03 / AvailabilityWhat the available options depend on

The set of instalment offers is generated automatically and isn't the same for every order. The main factors are the booking amount and the partner bank ready to take the order at that point. That's why we don't name specific banks or terms in advance: you can always see the current options at the payment step.

FactorHow it matters
Order amountFor very small or very large amounts, the list of options may differ or be empty.
Partner bankThe available terms and number of payments are set by the bank that takes on the order.
Bank's decision on the applicationFinal approval and terms rest with the bank after a short application.

04 / PaymentsPayment schedule and tracking your booking

  • The schedule is visible upfront. Each part's amount and the charge dates are shown before you confirm and saved with the booking.
  • The status lives in your account. Track the order and payments in My bookings.
  • Charges follow the schedule. Payments run on the dates agreed with the bank — keep enough balance on the card linked to the plan.
  • Schedule questions go to the bank. Moving a date or repaying early is usually handled by the partner bank.
If the trip is cancelledA refund on an instalment order follows the fare's rules, while the settlement with the bank follows the instalment terms. These are two separate processes, so check the details with both support and the bank. See our article on refunding non-refundable fares for more.

05 / HelpIf something goes wrong
