Saved traveller documents

Enter it once — never type it again. In your Sales.Travel account you can save the documents of the people you travel with most, and at your next booking the system fills their details into the form for you. It saves a few minutes on every purchase and reduces the risk of a passport typo.

In short

Open the documents section in your account, add a traveller (name in Latin letters, passport number, expiry date, date of birth) — then at checkout pick them from the list in one click. The data is stored securely, and you can edit or delete it at any time.

01 / What it isWhat saved documents are

A saved document is a traveller profile you fill in once in your account: name in Latin letters, passport number, expiry date and date of birth. The profile is tied to your account, so it fills in on any device where you're signed in.

It's handy to keep profiles for yourself, a spouse, children and anyone you fly with regularly. You can always see this data, and in the booking form it stays under your control — you can re-check and adjust it before payment.

FieldExampleWhy it matters
Name in Latin lettersIVAN PETROVMust match the passport exactly, letter for letter
Passport number75 1234567Identifies the document when the ticket is issued
Expiry dateuntil 2030Helps you spot an expiring passport in advance
Date of birth1990-05-14Affects the fare: adult, child or infant

02 / How to addHow to save a traveller

1

Sign in to your account

Open your account and go to the traveller documents section.

2

Add a new profile

Tap “Add traveller” and fill in the Latin name, passport number, expiry date and date of birth.

3

Check against the passport

Double-check the spelling of the name and the number — this is exactly the data that goes onto the ticket.

4

Save

The profile appears in your list and becomes available for auto-fill at your next booking.

Spell the name exactlyCopy the name straight from the machine-readable zone of the passport (the two bottom lines). A mismatch in even a single letter can cause trouble at the check-in desk.

03 / At checkoutHow it works at booking

When you place an order, the passenger block offers a choice of your saved profiles. Pick the right traveller and the fields fill in automatically. From there, just review the details and proceed to payment. You can always find the order history for these travellers in “My bookings”.

  • Auto-fill doesn't send the data anywhere on its own — the order is created only after you confirm payment.
  • You can edit any field right in the form without changing the saved profile.
  • For a new traveller you haven't saved yet, just enter the details by hand — and optionally keep them for next time.

04 / ManagingEdit or delete the data

Profiles live in your account and stay under your control. If a traveller has got a new passport, open their card and update the number and expiry date. If someone no longer travels with you, delete the profile and the data disappears from your list.

Past orders stay as they wereEditing or deleting a profile affects future auto-fills only. The data on tickets and bookings already issued stays unchanged — you can review it under “My bookings” or check with support.

05 / SecurityHow your data is protected

Traveller documents are stored securely and are accessible only from your account. We use them solely to process your orders. That said, basic account hygiene is up to you.

  1. 01Use a strong password and avoid signing in from devices that aren't yours.
  2. 02Connect login via the Telegram bot @sales_travel_bot as an extra way in.
  3. 03Keep profiles only for people you actually travel with: add someone else's passport data only with their consent.
  4. 04If you notice suspicious activity, change your password and let support know at 8 800 1000-646.
Don't share documents in open chatsEnter passport details only in your account or the secure booking form. Don't send passport scans or numbers via ordinary messengers or email — and remember that Sales.Travel never asks for such data in correspondence.

06 / FAQFrequently asked questions
