how to get one in 2026
The B211A is a 60-day tourist visa that can be extended once for another 60 days (120 total). You can apply online through Indonesia's official immigration portal, or through any local agency for $35–45. A passport, a photo, and a round-trip ticket are all you need.
Good to know: extending for another 60 days no longer requires a trip to the immigration office — it's all done online or through an agency for 500,000–700,000 IDR ($30–45).

your attention
- ✓Healthcare. BIMC Hospital in Kuta is the best hospital on Bali. Insurance with at least $50,000 in coverage is non-negotiable.
- ✓Internet. Get a villa with Wi-Fi, but pick up a local Telkomsel SIM too — 50GB for $3–4.
- ✓Scooter vs. car. A driver's license is mandatory. Ride without one and you're looking at a fine or a bribe. An international license works fine.
