Integration starts with a contract, not with code. If you run your own platform, mobile app or metasearch service, the Sales.Travel API lets you embed our content and booking directly into your product — tours, flights and hotels in a single flow.
Tech partners get an API for search, booking and content feeds with prices and rich content, plus order-status tracking. Access opens up once a contract is signed: you receive your keys and documentation. Keep track of your applications and contracts in your account, and raise integration questions through your manager or the partner programme.
01 / What the API offersWhat you can do with the API
The API covers the core deal lifecycle — from showing an offer to a confirmed order. It is built for partners who run their own storefront and need our range and inventory rather than a ready-made site.
- Search — query available tours, flights and hotels by parameters: destination, dates and traveller mix.
- Booking — placing an order for a selected offer, passing through passenger details.
- Content feed — pulling content and up-to-date prices into your own catalogue.
- Order tracking — checking statuses and updates for placed bookings.
02 / Who it fitsWho needs the API — and who's better off without it
The API pays off when you already have your own traffic and product. Without a platform of your own, other partner formats are usually a faster way to start.
03 / How to connectThe path to API access
Submit a partner application
Fill in the form on the Become a partner page and describe your product and expected volumes.
Agree on terms and sign the contract
A manager will go over the cooperation model and commissions with you, and then both sides sign the contract.
Get your keys and documentation
Once the contract is in place, you receive your access credentials (API keys) and technical documentation with sample requests.
Test the integration
Validate search, booking and feeds in a test environment, then agree on the production go-live.
04 / How it works in practiceA typical integration flow
In practice the flow comes down to three steps: you request offers, lock in the customer's choice, and follow the order status. It's best to request prices and availability at display time, since they change.
- 01Content and prices. You pull offers into your catalogue and refresh them on the agreed schedule.
- 02Re-check before booking. Just before placing an order, you re-verify the current price and availability of the chosen option.
- 03Order and statuses. You create the booking and track its status all the way through to the end of the trip.
05 / Support and settlementOnboarding support, commissions and payouts
For the onboarding period you're assigned a dedicated manager. The financial side — commissions and payouts — is fixed in the contract and shown in your partner dashboard. Send technical questions through the dedicated channel you're given at onboarding.
06 / FAQFrequently asked questions
Can I get the keys before signing a contract?
No. Credentials and documentation are issued only after the contract is signed — that's what locks in the terms, commissions and each side's responsibilities.
What exactly can the API do?
Search across tours, flights and hotels, place bookings, pull content and price feeds, and track order statuses. The full list of methods is in the documentation you receive at onboarding.
We don't have our own platform — is the API right for us?
Without a storefront, it's usually easier to start with white-label or partner listings. The API is built for partners who have their own product and development team.
How are commissions and payouts handled for API orders?
According to your contract terms; for the details, see the guides on commissions and payouts, with a summary in your partner dashboard.
